A Legacy of Love in Action
"But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
The Little Closet Community Food Pantry is our primary ministry. We recognized early in the formation of The Foundation that there are many needs in addition to food, i.e., clothing, gas, heating/cooling, medical, jobs, handicap ramps, daycare, housing, etc. An Operations Board was created for The Little Closet - to get it established and strong in serving the primary need for food in our community and to oversee the management of The Pantry. Once this is in place and operating smoothly and strong, we will then expand our services.
We are not an emergency organization. Setting designated days to open to the public should deter and negate the need for emergencies. However, should a need present itself on days other than designated opened days, we would accommodate. Our primary focus area is the Samantha community. It is the nucleus of our circle.
